And, at least from what I have seen, there’s not currently a solid mod to increase the speed and enthusiasm of the single action trigger pull, and the only fan the hammer mod I have seen essentially turns the revolver into a 6 round burst, with no option to only crank out a partial reload.

Only pistol mods I have had some disappointment with is revolvers, which seem to be based exclusively around extremely slow firing single action weapons, whether or not they should actually be. Have tried a few of the 1911, desert eagle, and 12.7mm pistol mods and usually they are all awesome. Think it’s wardaddy who has a couple colorful ones. Add a couple of the alternative animations for equipping and reloading, and the base game weapon feels pretty grand. 44 revolver a true double action (which it should be based on appearances) completely changes the feel of the weapon.
